Dieless Knife Cutting

Also known as digital knife cutting or flash cutting—is a modern, highly flexible cutting method that eliminates the need for traditional dies or tooling. Instead, it uses a computer-controlled blade to cut materials with precision, making it ideal for prototyping, short runs, and complex designs.

Indian Industries analyzes the best fabrication method for a particular gasket requirement based on performance and cost metrics.

The ATOM Flashcutter is capable of fabricating gaskets without a die, using a rapid vertical reciprocating cutting motion. This can provide a cleaner cut part and avoid compression marks typically found with die cut gaskets. Depending on the material and configuration, this method can also hold tighter tolerances than traditional die cutting thanks to the vacuum system holding the material in place during production.  This machine is capable of handling sizes up to 10ft X 5ft.

This fabrication method requires a DXF file to be converted and uploaded to the operating system before production can begin.

Quality Control and Packaging: At Indian Industries, quality is integral to every stage of production. We conduct rigorous incoming material inspections and in-process checks aligned with ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100 standards—ensuring precision, reliability, and consistency in every part we fabricate.
